Fancy driving pit bull goes for a ride at the car wash

A Pryor, OK woman took her pit bull with her to the Spot Free Carwash and left it in her 1982 Buick while she washed the car.  She apparently also left the car running because, in an attempt to get free, spot hopped up on the dashboard (he was probably trying to eat it), shifted the running car into reverse, backed out of the car wash bay, sped north for a bit on Highway 69, looped back into the car wash parking lot and backed into the automated car wash lane.  The owner of the car and the dog was unable to provide proof of insurance to the police, so the car was impounded and they had to walk home.  [Pryor Daily Times]

Arnold Loren, 28, of Lawton, OK got a little too tipsy at a local bar and started spilling beer all over the pool table.  The bartender cut him off and asked him to cash out.  Arnie tried paying her with a credit card, but it was declined (surprise).  I guess Arnie got a little rowdy, because the police were called.  When they arrived they ordered him to pay the tab... Arnie then began counting out gum wrappers as if they were cash.  Huh?  Never mind that this guy was clearly blotto...
