Caine Stevens, 3, of Hamilton, New Zealand got "cuts round his eye, lacerations on the inside of his mouth where his cheek had been separated from his jaw, damage to the nerves in his cheek which has caused his lip to droop, and a big 'ol cut on his cheek" when a dog bit him at a BBQ. Turns out the dog may have had a good reason... the kid yanked his nutsack... twice. The kid was warned not to do it... but did it again. Natural consequences. Yikes! New Zealand woman dies after accidentally spilling margarine on herself
Police in South Auckland, NZ are investigating the death of an 86-year-old woman who died after knocking a pot of burning melted margarine over herself. Apparently, she was melting the margarine to make ceremonial candles and fell.. spilling the stuff all over her. Eesh. Probably not a good way to go... [New Zealand Herald]

Guilty verdict for New Zealand man who fell asleep after raping woman
Vipul Sharma, 22, of Auckland, New Zealand met a woman at a bar, drove her to a park and raped her in the back seat of his car. This idiot then lets the woman drive the car while he takes a nap in the passenger seat. So... she drove him to the police station and turned him in. Smart. Can he really be this stupid? Regardless, a jury found Vipul guilty of abduction and two counts of sexual violation by rape. He's going to be sentenced in January. [New Zealand Herald]

Kane Heal, 22, from Nelson, New Zealand had fun last weekend mooning motorists while car surfing until he fell off the car's roof and slid, face first, for 65 or so feet. The car, being driven by Kane's girlfriend, was going about 50 miles per hour at the time. [New Zealand Herald]

New Zealand farmers accused of impaling cow on tractor
Two 42-year-old New Zealand men are facing charges of animal cruelty after impaling a live cow on the forks of a tractor front-end loader. Apparently, the cow was sick and one of the farmers shot it and attempted to move it a little too soon. [New Zealand Herald]
