Self-proclaimed messiah accused of healing (aka molesting) children

Union City, NM cult leader Wayne Bent (also a self-proclaimed messiah) is being investigated for inappropriate contact with children.  He says his "persecution" is bringing about the end of the world and has caused the current financial crisis.  Wayne is accused of molesting children whom he says he was only "healing".  If you live in New Mexico, take note.  Wayne says on his website that "God will leave New Mexico a 'burned field,' because of his prosecution."  Oh, he's also going on a hunger strike while in confinement: The first week, he says he will eat one meal a day. The second week he will only drink juice and on the third, only water. After October 31, he says he won't eat or drink again until he is in heaven. If all goes according to plan, problem should be solved by mid-November.  [KOB.com]
