Isn't it ironic: Blood alcohol tester fails blood alcohol test

Kathleen Cherry, 53, a phlebotomist, trained to draw blood for lab tests, working for the state of Nevada, showed up at a jail to test someones blood alcohol content...  the deputy on duty noticed that she smelled like a distillery, so he gave her a breathalyser.  She blew a .08 and failed a field sobriety test.  Kathy said she only had one (apparently really really strong) margarita.  Kathy was booked on a misdemeanor drunken driving charge.  Good thing she was already at the jail... saved a car ride. Micro-Nation in Nevada bans Texas imports

Kevin Baugh, 46, of Dayton, Nevada has been ruler of his own pro-American "micro-nation" (basically his house and yard) since declaring independence 10 years ago.  Unlike the nuts in the pacific northwest, Kevin pays taxes (foreign aid) to the U.S. and works in HR for the U.S. Army.  He's banned light bulbs, walruses and catfish from his nation and.... now that his wife has left him and defected to Texas, he's banned all Texas imports.  There is no word on whether trade negotiations will take place in the near future.
