Mother of Three Puts Feces into Hospitalized Baby Girl's IV Line

The mother of the year award goes to ... Mrs. McDonald, as voted by a local attorney.

Mayor calls city council stupid and tells town to "go to hell"

St. Anthony, ID Mayor Bill Beck resigned from his office at the beginning of a City Council meeting last week by walking in to the meeting, telling everyone that they are too stupid to understand... and then stating that the town can go to hell.  Bill is the subject of a recall petition and folks applauded when he left.  Little people in little towns... Cops bust in on daughter watching TV with her pet deer... now mom wants $2M

Kootenai, ID police and game wardens found two deer living in a double-wide trailer last year and seized them and 30 other animals, including a 28-year-old horse, in an animal abuse case.  After the deer were “released into the wild” and the other animals euthanized, a battery of animal cruelty charges were dismissed against the trailer owner, Darlene Gardner.  Darlene is suing the county and “jack-booted thugs” from the Sheriff’s Office for $2 million.  She says the officers didn’t have a search warrant and pushed the door in on her 16-year-old daughter who was home alone, watching TV... with her pet deer and shih tzu.  Umm.... good luck with that.  [Spokesman Review]

Waste of time: Man sues state after getting bitten by a mosquito

Jerry Hayes, of Boise, ID apparently got bitten by a mosquito and got West Nile Virus.  He's now suing the state of Idaho and Ada County for $3 million... despite issuing 32 press releases, holding dozens of news conferences which generated hours of news coverage, distributing brochures and setting up a special website on West Nile, Jerry claims the government failed to educate him about the virus.  Seriously, Jerry.  Quit wasting everyone's time and just go get a job.  Ain't no easy money here... plus, you are responsible for you, my man.  [2NEWS] 

Insult to injury: Man gets hit by truck and a ticket for jaywalking

Ebrahim Balah, 62, of Boise, ID stepped out into the street and got hit by a truck.  He suffered only minor injuries, but because he didn't use a crosswalk, he got a ticket.  He's lucky he didn't get squashed into two dimensions.  [Idaho Statesman]

Calling Sheriff Jim... come in Sheriff Jim...

Lewiston, Idaho Sheriff Jim Dorion has gone missing and is about to lose his job if he doesn't report for work.  Sheriff Jim Dorion started a 90-day paid medical leave four months ago, after telling county officials he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer... apparently, officials initially became aware of Sheriff Jim's illness after he fell from a horse in the county fair parade in late April. They later disclosed Dorion had been drinking alcohol, apparently "self-medicating" with alcohol for his condition.  If they really want this guy back, perhaps check the local taverns.  Thanks Ezra [Fort Mill Times]
