Apparently, Sara Dye,
27, a waitress at a Hooter's in Iowa, was the victim of several domestc assaul
her with some bruises that the restaurant chain considered contrary to their
standards "glamorous appearance
(that's what I think when I see a Hooter's girl... glamorous)... so they gave
her the ax. Sara sued and won
unemployment benefits. Hooter's reps say
that they aren't aware of any restaurant that would let a woman who looked like
she just finished a 10 rounder serve food.... [Des Moines Register]
