A dynamic duo mother-son team in Port St. Lucie, FL apparently plotted to kill two men for their inheritance. Therese Batson, 44 and and William Cook, 23 tried to hire a hitman to kill Therese's live-in boyfriend and his brother. They offered some generic Xanax pills as a down payment and the victim's truck, boat and camper once the deed was done The would-be hitman ratted them out to the police. [Palm Beach Post]
